Eric is an associate in the Corporate and Taxation Departments at Morse. His practice focuses on tax and business planning with an emphasis on partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions, and debt and equity financings. Eric fills the unique role of tax and corporate attorney and draws on his extensive experience working directly with LLCs and partnerships. Working alongside other Corporate team members, Eric assists on transactional matters and advises clients in a range of industries.

Prior to joining Morse, Eric worked as a senior associate at an Am Law 50 law firm, where he represented investors in tax-advantaged debt and equity transactions throughout the United States. Eric also previously worked for a Big Four advisory firm based in Boston, where he assisted clients in the energy, life sciences, biotechnology, and consumer goods industries with the establishment of tax efficient international business structures and intercompany transactions.

During law school, Eric was a symposium editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine and an intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where he worked to protect the state’s consumers from unfair and deceptive trade practices. Eric also was a judicial extern to the Honorable Elia Weinbach in the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, Eric enjoys developing his cooking skills, playing the guitar, rooting for his hometown Dodgers, and exploring the outdoors with his wife, Alex, and his son, Oliver.
