Waltham, MA – Morse is pleased to announce the following elevations effective January 1, 2025. Amanda Thibodeau has been elevated to Member and Daniel Branson has been elevated to Senior Attorney.
Amanda is an active member of the Employment Team, focusing her practice on the counseling and litigation of employment issues. She advises employers on a variety of matters, ranging from wage and hour classifications and disputes to compliance issues with state and federal laws. Amanda provides guidance to startups, as well as small and mid-sized employers, through the entire life cycle of the employment relationship. Amanda also works closely with the Firm’s transactional lawyers, advising businesses and institutional investors on employment law compliance. She has been with the firm since 2019, most recently as a Senior Attorney.
Dan is an active member of the Patent Team, focusing on foreign and domestic patent prosecution and application drafting in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, and treatment fields. Dan has experience as a patent examiner, working with companies to protect valuable inventions across areas like vaccines, small molecule and biologics compositions, diagnostics, dermatology, and much more. He is highly skilled in intellectual property matters, including patent preparation and prosecution, trademark prosecution, license agreements, and due diligence. Dan has been with the firm since 2022, most recently as an Associate.
