Taimoor’s legal journey began in immigration law, where he gained experience working in-house at a global immigration firm, as well as a nationally recognized business and family immigration law firm. Driven to expand his knowledge, he pursued an L.L.M. in Taxation at Boston University, where he had the opportunity to learn from Morse Corporate & Tax attorney, Joe Hunt. Following his L.L.M., Taimoor transitioned to Mergers & Acquisitions Tax as an Associate at KPMG.
With a strong background in U.S. federal taxation, Taimoor is adept at navigating complex tax issues that arise during mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. He assists clients in structuring equity compensation for service providers and ensures compliance with state and federal corporate law requirements. Taimoor writes,
